Hi y'all, I'm Maxine (she/her)! I'm a second year undergrad at UCLA,
studying Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. Currently, I work with
ELFIN CubeSat,
developing flight software and simulation software for the Attitude Determination
& Control (ADCS) subsystem for cube satellites.
I've also been working on a quarter-long research project
with the Visual Machines Group exploring 3D rendering with Gaussian Splatting.
I'm interested in building software that informs physical systems, ie. vision/perception,
3D modeling, embodied AI. I also think algorithms are neat.
On campus, I serve as Co-President of ACM AI, UCLA's largest
community of AI-enthusiasts making AI accessible for all. I also sing and arrange for Cadenza A capella.
I'm passionate about equitable and accessible education in STEM and music.
